Message From the President

As the President of the Southeastern Association of Fire Chief’s I would like to welcome you to our newly renovated website.  The Southeastern Association of Fire Chief’s focuses on "Serving, Leading, and Mentoring Chief Fire Officers" in the ten states and two territories that comprise the Southeastern Division of the International Fire Chiefs Association and furthers the interests of prevention, control, and mitigation of fire, life safety, community risk reduction and all hazards in our region.

It is our mission to provide leadership, education, information, and networking to career and volunteer chief fire officers and managers of Emergency Service Organizations throughout the Southeastern Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.  We are dedicated and promise to work tirelessly to provide progressive leadership, education programs and opportunities utilizing all possible delivery methods to our members.

We are excited about the dynamics of the organization and as your President, I would like to personally challenge every fire and emergency services personnel to “Get Engaged” in your fire and emergency services.  If not you then who? 

Stay safe and make everyday a training day so “Everyone Goes Home”!
